To inspire and unite the retro community.

Veronica and Andrea developed their initial idea over the last few months from a place to report the latest on fashion and beauty to further encompassing the community through curating a social calendar of local retro events like Dapper Day at Disneyland. The sense of camaraderie they felt and saw at Dapper Day got them wanting more. Since that spring of 2015, they’ve sought out small and big events to attend, meeting new faces, greeting familiar ones, and witnessing the awe and respect of the community. Red Hot Retro sprang from those experiences and desire to reach out, support, and bring all the cool cats together.

Veronica can never say no to chips and guacamole or a good cocktail, especially at Happy Hour. Born and raised in La Verne, CA, she’s a straight shooter who loves gaming as much as she loves dresses with pockets. She never strays away from her Google calendar, her go-to organizer, which is most likely filled with dance or workout classes. Veronica now lives in Studio City with her boyfriend Aaron, her black cat Ninja, and her happy pup Bandit. She is currently breaking in a new pair of Everline Reds from B.A.I.T.

Andrea can never say no to a strawberry milkshake or stay angry at her husband, Alex or her tuxedo cat, James Dean. Born in Chicago, IL and raised in Covina, CA by her Guatemalan parents, Andrea is the middle child of two sisters, and knows three important things: how to adapt, make a great plate of frijoles, and say please and thank you. If her nose is not stuck in a book or a cup a coffee, Andrea is people-watching. She is currently trying to perfect the Victory Roll.
